two party system = junk

so… the only way anyone gets elected is by tens of millions of dollars… and the normal way to raise the money is through a political party.
this is why i hate our two party system. one could be the most brilliant pubic servant ever and without having a D or an R next to your name, they get nowhere.

i walked to church today. i owe God and my Grandmother, so it was time. i stopped by Starbucks to get a coffee and i got hit up by some homeless guy. my instinct stopped me from giving him any money. my soul regretted it.
i am by no means perfect, but i have a beef with church in general. 75% of the people there are dressed inappropriately. you don’t need to be in a suit, but leave the jeans at home. then, 20 minutes into mass people are still filing in. yea, it’s a cathedral and it’s a big place but don’t be showing up on your own time and act like it’s cool. mix in babies crying, people on their phones, and i don’t blame people that don’t feel like going every Sunday.
at least i enjoyed the service. i’ll go back.
